1. A COUNTRY I´D LIKE TO VISIT

I´d like to visit Cuba. Six years ago I visited Cuba, being an adolescent. I don´t remember a lot of things of that travel because in that years I was more ocupated about my hair, my clothes and the atention of the people. Today, with my knows about history, political economy, sociology and marxism, visit Cuba can be a very interesting oportunity.

I know that Cuba was the escenary of the Cuban Revolution, the first socialist revolution in América Latina. Yes, at the noses of the United States! The Cuba´s island was comanded by the revolutionary general Fidel Castro. The first years of the Cuban Revolution was very heroic and benefits for the people of Cuba. Sadly, at the past of the years, Castro turned in a dictator, that resolved the problems with blood and fire. Today, the Comunist Party of Cuba have the control of all the institutions and the power that should be of the heroic Cuban people.

If I visit Cuba, I would like to visit the Plaza de la Revolución, Playa Girón, Universidad de La Habana, and another historical and interesting places. I would visit my cuban friend Tony, that was my guide at the first travel to Cuba, six years ago.

I think I don´t like to live or work at Cuba, because I´m a democratic socialist. I believe in marxism, but I don´t believe that Marx, Guevara or Allende would like to know that, today, Cuba it´s a dictatorship. Maybe I would like to study at La Habana University, but no more than that.
